Jangir Engineering and Robotics Details
- I have developed and customized Odoo modules for Jangir Engineering and Robotics, focusing mainly on the manufacturing (MRP) and inventory modules to optimize their production and stock management processes. I customized the Bill of Materials (BoM) to support complex robotic assemblies and engineering components specific to their operations. Work centers and routings were configured to mirror their actual production workflow, which enabled accurate tracking of manufacturing orders and each stage of production. I also automated the generation of work orders and integrated quality checks at key points in the process to maintain consistent standards. On the inventory side, I implemented features for managing raw material availability, batch tracking, and real-time stock updates. Additionally, I created custom reports to analyze production efficiency, material usage, and the status of work orders. The user interface was simplified for the shop floor team to make it easier to update work order statuses and report completed production. This project was developed using Odoo 16 Community Edition with Python, XML, and PostgreSQL, and version control was managed using Git.
